DAIC publishes planned maintenance, downtime and service changes as an iCalendar feed:

```
https://doc.daic.tudelft.nl/calendar.ics
```

Subscribe to the feed rather than importing the file. A subscribed calendar updates when the feed changes; an imported calendar is a one-time copy that does not receive new or changed events.

## Subscribe in Outlook

Outlook for Mac only offers *Add Shared Calendar* and *Import ICS*, neither of which subscribes to a feed. Add the subscription once in Outlook on the web; it is stored in your TU Delft account and then appears in Outlook for Mac, Outlook for Windows and the Outlook mobile app.

1. Open [outlook.office.com/calendar](https://outlook.office.com/calendar) and sign in with your TU Delft account.
2. In the left sidebar, select **Add calendar**.
3. Select **Subscribe from web**.
4. Paste `https://doc.daic.tudelft.nl/calendar.ics`, enter `DAIC` as the name, and select **Import**.

In classic Outlook for Windows, **Home > Add Calendar > From Internet** subscribes to the same URL.

Outlook refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, typically every few hours. The calendar is read-only.

## Other calendar applications

Apple Calendar (**File > New Calendar Subscription**), Google Calendar (**Other calendars > From URL**) and Thunderbird (**New Calendar > On the Network**) subscribe to the same URL.
