Submissions overview page loads a ton of data

The submissions overview page of an assignment loads a ton of data, which makes the page quite slow to access. Usually one would like to search or filter, but to enter the search or a filter the page first has to load.

Perhaps the page could be paginated or not load actual data until a search is given or "show data" is clicked (or something similar). That way the page will be accessible fast and more useful.
