[Queue](https://queue.tudelft.nl) can be used to book timeslots for online assessment. As a staff member you can create a course, and allow students to book a time slot for getting assessed via e.g. Skype. Here are instructions on how to create such a course and time slots:
### Creating a Course in Queue
1. Go to [queue.tudelft.nl](https://queue.tudelft.nl) and login.
2. Select `Courses` in the upper left corner.
3. Click the `Create` button in the upper right corner above the list of courses.
4. Fill in the correct Course Code and Course name (ignore the "Submission URL field") and click the `Create new course` button.
### Adding Students to Your Course
Do NOT try to import your students. Let them know (e.g. via Brightspace) that you have created the course in Queue and tell them to enroll themselves in it.
### Adding TAs to Your Course
1. After the course is created, it's `Info` page will be displayed. Alternatively, click on `Queue` in the upper left corner (this will get you to the home page) and select the course you wish to add your TAs to.
2. Select the `Participants` tab from the course menu.
3. Click the grey `Add participant` button on the top right.
4. Do NOT try to Import TA's!
5. Under the "Create" heading, enter the NetID of the TA you wish to add and select `Assistant` in the Role field.
6. Click the `Add Participant to Course` button.
7. Repeat this process for every TA.
8. If you wish to see the TAs already added, select the `Staff` button in the `Participants` tab for an overview.
### Creating an Assignment in the Course
1. Go to the info page of the course you wish to create a slotted lab for and select the `Assignments` tab in the menu.
2. Click the green `Add assignment` button and fill in *only* the name of the assignment.
3. Click the grey `Save` button.
4. Repeat this process for every assignment you wish to create slots for.
### Creating a Lab with Timeslots in the Course
1. Go to the info page of the course you wish to create a slotted lab for and select the `Labs` tab in the menu.
2. Click the blue `Create new lab` button on the right. (NOTE: If you haven't created any assignments yet, this will redirect you to the `Assignments` tab. You cannot create a lab without having at least one assignment created.)
3. In the `Create lab` section, fill in the Title of the lab and the slot for the entire length of the lab (e.g. Friday, 13 March 13:45 - 17:45). Do not change the `Direction` option.
4. In the `Time intervals` section, click on the `Sign off in time intervals` switch to turn it on (grey = OFF, blue = ON). Choose the `Intervals of x minutes` (how long will one slot last), the `Number of TAs working this lab (capacity)` (how many people can be signed off at the same time) and the `Slot selection opens at` (when you want students to start being able to select a slot).
5. In the `General` section fill in:
1. `Rooms`:
1. If the lab has rooms in which it would normally take place, select all of them.
2. If the lab would normally not have any rooms, select the `To be determined` room as the only option.
3. Do NOT create a new room.
2. `Assignments`: Select all the assignments students can submit and sign-off during this lab.
3. `Request types`: Select `Submission` for a lab where students can submit and `Question` where students can ask questions (NOTE: you can also select both).
6. Do NOT modify anything else in any other section.
7. Click the blue `Create new lab` button on the bottom.
8. The lab has been created and students can start choosing their time slots.
