As a result of the planned maintenance of the TU Delft RID data center from December 10 till 17, GitLab will be mostly unavailable during that week. GitLab will go in read-only mode on December 11 (time: 12:00). For a short while after that git pulls will continue to work, but pushes will not. A bit later git pulls will also stop working. Prepare for this interruption now and inform others where needed. [twitch.tv](https://www.twitch.tv) is an online streaming platform commonly used for people to watch people play computer games. It is can also be used for live streaming lectures.
##### Key notes:
- Twitch scales to a large group (virtually unlimited).
- We recommend creating a local recording using (OBS)(OBS), which you can publish on Brightspace later.
- Viewers can only reply via text-based messages, which can easily become a mess (see below on moderation).
- Twitch has licensing that is not great and is not GDPR-compliant (see below on terms of service). We recommend at least that you do not request students to create identifiable accounts.
