Project Abstract

Currently, the list of projects presents cards with the name of the project, text, tags/labels and the offerer. The text preview is made by taking the beginning of the description and cutting it off after some number of characters. Instead, it would be better if proposers are allowed to specify an abstract (plain text only), of a word limit that is set per course edition. The project previews would then use the abstract for displaying the project in the list to students.

• Add (optional) abstract to proposal form
• If abstract is not set, use existing logic for showing project text.
• Fix/improve existing logic by filtering out the markdown and showing only the text (?)
