Filters do not work properly with new requests

In various situations, the filters do not correctly filter out new requests.

For example, when filtering for requests specifically for me, every new request also shows up in my list (I'm in the course as a student and as a teacher, so that is why I am in the list twice):

(Note that these requests are not all "pending" because they are updated as other TAs are handling them. Refreshing the page shows an empty list as expected: )

This behavior does not happen when filtering on courses, labs, assignments, rooms nor when filtering on type. When using timeslots, this behavior seems to happen in some of those cases as well.
