"Labs" and "Assignments" misleading and unnnecessarry?

Summary

"Labs" seems to be a artifact from when Queue was only used in labs; nowadays we use it for all kinds of stuff incl reviews, interviews, or oral exams.

• Why is it called "labs" anyway? Isn't there a more egneric term now that Queue is used for all kinds of Scheduled Events?
• I found it odd that I need to have an "assignment" to schedule a "lab"
