Statistics
Statistics are currently displayed as a big table on the management screen of a course. These statistics are in most cases unnecessary because they do not provide any insightful information about the course. Instead, there should be a statistics page which shows relevant information about a course:
- Students enrolled
- How many students are enrolled?
- How many are pending/accepted/rejected?
- Project Preferences
- Division of nth choice over the different projects.
- Popularity of projects (popularity would be some measure with regards to the position on the preferences list)
- Projects
- How many people are interested for particular projects? (groups + interest lists)
- How many projects are taken (max groups accepted)
- How many / which projects have too many groups?
- Companies
- How many groups is each company clienting?
- How many groups is each client clienting?
- Coaching
- How many projects has each coach expressed interest into?
- What is the total coach availability for a course? Is this enough?
- How many groups / which groups do not have a coach?
- Which projects have no coach?
This should be further refined into a design and by prioritising certain features.
